Full Traceability: Know Your Source

From the Pacific Ocean to Your Plate

In today's global supply chain, transparency is paramount. Southern Cal Seafood provides **end-to-end traceability** for every product, allowing our partners to verify the origin, handling, and processing history of their order with complete confidence.

Our Traceability System

Every batch of product is assigned a unique identifier at the point of landing. This ID is tracked through our internal system and links to the following critical data points:

  1. Vessel and Captain: The specific fishing vessel and captain responsible for the catch.
  2. Catch Location (FMA): The precise Fishery Management Area (FMA) where the product was harvested.
  3. Date and Time of Landing: The exact time the product was offloaded at our facility.
  4. Processing Details: The date, time, and method of processing (e.g., blast-frozen, whole round, IQF).
  5. Quality Control Checks: Records of all HACCP and SQF quality checks performed.
  6. Shipping and Temperature Logs: Detailed records of the cold chain from our facility to the final destination.
